PEPSI is giving this opportunity to the top 10 ideas only. Please vote and tell everyone you know to vote. What a wonderful opportunity to bring fresh produce to families in Monroe!
Please visit RefreshEverything.com/BlessingBaskets and cast your vote. It only takes a moment. This is purely a volunteer effort and a labor of love. The co-op is primarily comprised of a group of women who wish to feed their families nutritiously and affordably.
“When I heard about the PEPSI Refresh Project, I immediately launched into thinking mode about how I could contribute a project idea that would benefit my adopted hometown, Monroe, NC. I love Monroe and I love the people of Monroe.”
- Sara Ray Brooks, Volunteer
The produce co-op was begun by Christina Nelson, a mother of 4, originally from California, who now resides in Clover, SC. It began with 17 participants 21 months ago and has grown to eight locations in the greater Charlotte area and 1700 participants. Sardis Baptist Church in Indian Trail serves as one of the pick up sites.
