Monroe, NC Airshow
You do not want to miss this fantastic Air Show to be held at the Charlotte-Monroe Executive Airport on November 7 & 8. For more information, please visit the Warriors & Warbirds web site. The crowds are expected to top 50,000 to this Monroe, NC Airshow. This event will feature vintage airplanes from across the country. The Memphis Belle will also be on display. This is a well organized event from the City of Monroe and Pete Hovanec, Monroe’s Communications and Tourism Officer. Pete has worked for months on this event. Pete promises an event for the family that you will never forget. Call a veteran or better yet, invite a veteran to be your guest at this wonderful Union County Air Show, Warriors & Warbirds.
Dan, it was such a great show. Pete Hovanec who is the City of Monroe Communications and Tourism Officer worked hard for months and it really paid off. Bob Russell and Bob Yanoscek who organized and founded this event really outdid themselves. I would not be surprised to see this show go National.
Nice video – well-done. I hope that people understand just how fortunate they are to have an airshow of this caliber, so close and at such a great little airport.
For the price, you cannot get a better value at an airshow. Some museums charge more for static-only displays. The quality of the airshow performers and static displays is second to none in my experience of attending airshows in the south east. Everything from parking, bus transport, food vendors, facilities is incredible for such a small and dedicated few. I attended last year as a paying guest and volunteered this year. Nice to be a small part of such a great weekend.
