The Union County Christmas Parade this year in historic downtown Monroe promises to be a great uptown event. The Union County Christmas Parade is sponsored this year by Union Smart Start and The Enquirer Journal.

Union County, NC Christmas Parade

The Christmas Parade begins at 2 and will line up on Parker Street. The Union County Christmas Parade route is Sunset to Hayne, Franklin to Church St., Church to Jefferson St., Jefferson to Main, Main to Lancaster, Lancaster to Washington. The Christmas Parade disperses at Walter Bickett Stadium.

The Union County Christmas Parade will last approximately 2 hours.

A poignant and long-held tradition, the Union County Christmas Parade is an exciting opportunity for families, businesses and local government to annually gather in the spirit of community and celebration.

Union Smart Start serves as the coordinating agency for the parade, reserving float space for participating groups and businesses, as well as managing all general logistics of the parade, continuing its tradition as Union County’s most popular holiday tradition.
