I stopped by the Union County Animal Shelter this week and checked out the dogs that were available for adoption. These dogs could use a new home. The animal shelter can always use volunteers to help care for the animals also. You can walk in at anytime to view the animals and they have special areas where you can play with the dogs and cats. Even if you are not interested in adopting an animal, they encourage you to just stop by and pet and play with them. That’s a great way to spend a lunch hour.
