Monroe, NC – The Union County Community Arts Council is hosting “From the Art”, a solo exhibition of art and narrative essays by Wadesboro artist June Rollins from April 2 – 30 at the Council gallery, 120 N. Main Street in Monroe. Twenty original paintings including portraits, children, still life, landscapes and flowers will be on exhibit.
June Rollins is a signature member of the Watercolor Society of North Carolina and the Southern Watercolor Society. She is a regular contributor for “Beginnings” in Yadkin Valley Living Magazine and author of “From the Art” in Art Sync Magazine.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the artist at the Union County Community Arts Council on April 16 and 17 when she will be demonstrating watercolor during the Monroe Art Walk.
