Stallings Chestnut Oaks Participates In The 27th Annual National Night Out Evening Celebration!

Union County, NC – A great time was had Tuesday night at Chestnut Oaks in Stallings. NBC News 36 was there, Mayor Lynda Paxton, Stallings Police and Fire Department, Union County Sheriff’s Office all with police community relations in mind. Dan Starks demonstrated self defense safety simulations with residents then enjoying covered dish homemade eats and hot dogs on the grill. Since I serve on the CO HOA Board and Social/ Beautification Committee Chair, I can say that we want to be a neighborhood like the good old days where our police know all the kids names. You can’t have peace of mind protection if police don’t know where and who you are. We are grateful for our police department and proud to host this critical event creating and retaining these important partnerships.
