I was driving into Monroe the other day to run a few errands and I was stopped at the stoplight at Hwy 74 and Fowler Secrest Rd. I glanced over at the shopping center on the corner and saw Artistic Imprints & Apparel which offered Embroidery and Screen Printing. I had been wanting to have a shirt with monroescoop.com screen printed on it. It was there I met Karen Fennell, the owner. I explained what I needed and and I was worried that I would have to place a minimum order for shirts. I only wanted one shirt for now.
“No problem” she tells me, “we’ll do one shirt for you.” I was very happy about that.
My second question was about the type font I wanted to use on the shirt. Once again, Karen honored my request and said “just e-mail me your special font and I’ll do it.” Ok folks, this is what I like when I walk into a business and Karen definitely stepped up to the plate for me. It’s this type of customer service that all of the citizens of Monroe, NC and Union County, NC need to be aware of and we need to support these small business owners like Artistic Imprints.

Artistic Imprints & Apparel is located at 306-E Hwy 74 West. Artisticimprints.net. The store is located on the corner across from Bob Mayberry Chrysler. Karen has been in operation for about a year and a half. Karen & Terry Fennell are the owners who also owned University Monograms for the previous 10 years in Harrisburg & Wingate NC. They have a lot of experience and can certainly handle any request given.
