@Daniel, The horse was shot (video, no pun intended) over at the Union County Livestock Barn.

Skaters are cool. If I started skating, I would keep EMS busy.

It’s time to do another 5 x 5. I have been challenged by a couple of friends, Kevin & Wesley that they can’t be stumped.

So like Kevin, I knew all of these except for No. 3.

I passed a sign today that “Starkey’s Horses: Where Horses are Bought and Sold” and remembered your hint: “A lot of animals are sold where this horse is galloping.”

Any chance that’s it? Otherwise I’m assuming some sort of agricultural auction area?

And there’s nothing wrong with inline skating at any age. Some people could care less how other people view them, or if they are cool enough to be dubbed a “sk8er.”

John, your right. If I put on roller blades, I would also need a disco ball, a perm and a silk shirt with the big puffy sleeves.

  • John

Although I’m much too old to skate, it’s nice to see that Monroe is (as the young folks might say) “skater-friendly” or is it “sk8er friendly”? This sure beats seeing people my age embarrasing themselves by roller-blading.

Kevin, you nailed it except for #3. I didn’t give a lot of backdrop clues for #3. Here is a clue…a lot of animals are sold where this horse is galloping.

  • Kevin

Has this case been solved yet?
If not, here’s my list of guesses….
    1. Monroe Country Club Parking Lot off of Hwy 601 South
    2. Secrest Avenue at the Railroad Tracks at Tyson Foods
    3. The Ark
    4. Shiloh Baptist Church parking lot closest to rock quarry
    5. Government Center courtyard at the Jefferson Street, Main Street End..
Thanks, this was a lot of fun!!
