Holidays are often a time when loved ones lost occupy our thoughts. It can be a real struggle to figure out what to do about those thoughts and memories. In recognition of that, Hospice of Union County is hosting the Annual Tree of Love in Monroe Crossing.
At the Tree of Love, you can purchase an ornament for $5, which is easily individualized with markers, glitter, photos or even ticket stubs, as well as a paper angel with your loved one’s name on it, to hang on the Tree of Love in the mall, while the other ornament goes home to be part of your holiday celebration there.
The Tree is staffed by volunteers from 10am to 8pm, Monday through Saturday and Noon to 6pm on Sundays, until Dec. 23.
