Don’t you just hate days that start with something like a flat tire on your car in the driveway? It could always be worse, but that’s how the day started. A flat tire on my wife’s car. You have to jack the car up, remove the tire and then take it somewhere. In my case, I really just wanted a good used tire that I didn’t have to spend a fortune on. I guess I’m being frugal. I tossed the tire in the truck and headed into Monroe.
I did not have a particular destination in mind. I figured I would stop at the nearest tire shop. Here are the results:
1. First place had no used tires. New tire was expensive.
2. Second place had no used tires. New tire was again very expensive.
3. Third place was closed.

The 4th place I visited was Tire Town at 1002 Roosevelt Blvd. on Hwy. 74. The only reason I stopped at the first 3 was because they were a little closer. I walked in and met Kevin Sullivan, the owner of Tire Town. I was given immediate attention. They had exactly what I was looking for. They gave me a very fair price and had my repaired tire back in the bed of my truck in less than 10 minutes. This was excellent customer service and I would highly recommend that you consider Tire Town in Monroe, NC for your next repair or new tires. Just found this article about Tire Town, I’ve been doing business with Van & Kevin for at least 15 years. I find the Town Town crew one of the best in the Monroe, N.C. area. Their honest and very concious of quality and I can count Tire Town to repair my vechiles.
I’ve been doing business with Kevin and his crew for a long time. I have never found anyone so honest in the car repair business. I have 3 cars, Subaru, BMW, and Corvette, and I trust Tire Town with all of them — from Tires to brakes to oil changes and general repairs. Thanks, guys, for doing such a great job!
I can vouch for Kevin and his crew: they do great, professional work at very affordable prices. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers, which is a rarity these days.
I had four new tires put on by one of Kevin’s mechanics, and I’ll be heading over soon for an inspection and alignment. If any local business deserves to be spotlighted, it’s one such as this.
