Do Not Miss The Lake Park Lights Christmas Light Display

One of the most awesome displays of Christmas lights you are likely to ever see is right here in our own community located in Lake Park.

David & Lisa Brown operate what has become to be known as “Lake Park Lights.” This is David’s fourth year of operating the lights which are set to music. David expanded the lights this year to be bigger and better.

Music included in the light show.

  • Trans-Siberian Orchestra
  • Alvin & the Chipmunks
  • Michael W. Smith
  • Judy Pancoast

Over the years David was asked if he would accept support to operate the light show. The wonderful thing that David asked his supporters, were to instead make contributions to the Union County Christmas Bureau.

“Last year the display raised $2500 for the Christmas Bureau. We selected this particular charity because it benefits families here in our own area.”

David started out in 2006 with 56 computer controlled light circuits. This year he has 224 computer controlled circuits.

The Lake Park Lights display runs each night starting at 6PM. The shows are 20 minutes long and run each half hour. The last show starts at 9PM on Sunday through Thursday, and 9:30PM on Friday and Saturday. It will run every night through New Year’s Eve.

Listen to the show on your car’s FM radio.
The soundtrack for the light show can be heard on 94.5FM (only on our street, this is a low-power FM station). You can find us at 4019 Lake Charles Way in Lake Park (Indian Trail, NC).
