Monroe, NC

The Monroe, NC Police Department and Chick-fil-A teamed up over the weekend for a winning combination that greatly benefitted the North Carolina Special Olympics. As of this writing, over $2800 has been collected and donations are still coming in. Sgt. Rhett Bolen of the Monroe Police is no stranger to these events. In June, this past summer, Bolen organized the Uptown Monroe 5K Law Enforcement Torch Run that benefitted the Special Olympics.
Sgt. Bolen and Chick-fil-A has asked us to spread the word of thanks to everyone who came out and supported the event. If you missed the event over the weekend, you can still stop by the Monroe Chick-fil-A to make a donation through the end of this month.
