The City of Monroe’s Street Division forces will be repairing a storm drain which crosses Concord Avenue between Benton Street and Lydia Street beginning June 15. During construction, this section of Concord Avenue will be closed to through traffic during the hours of 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each business day. Access will be provided to property owners within the immediate work area. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area during construction hours and to take alternate routes if possible. All work on Concord Avenue should be completed by June 19.
