The Monroe, NC Fire Department has a special video message for all of the citizens of Monroe & Union County. Tonight we move the clocks forward and it is a good time to check those batteries in your smoke detector and your carbon monoxide detector. Captain Wesley Graham of the Monroe Fire Dept. explains the reasons why and how the fire department can help you accomplish this task if you are unable to do so yourself.
